November 21, 2024 (Pohnpei, FSM) – Day 4 marked the final meeting session of the 75th PIHOA Executive Board Meeting here in Pohnpei. This closed business meeting focused on updates from the Secretariat and deliberations on key topics raised throughout the week. A significant highlight was the establishment of a U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands Health Workforce Development Technical Working Group, a crucial step toward addressing the ongoing public health workforce crisis in the region. The day concluded with a reaffirmed commitment to collective action and sustainable health solutions for Pacific Island communities.
