March 12, 2025 (Hagåtña, Guam) – On January 20, 2025, a new cohort of the Postgraduate Certificate in Field Epidemiology (PGCFE) officially launched, featuring seven dedicated fellows from the Pacific Public Health Fellowship Program (PPHFP). Representing Palau, Chuuk, Pohnpei, and American Samoa, these fellows are committed to enhancing epidemiological capacity in the region.
The first phase of their training took place in Guam from January 20 to February 7, 2025, equipping them with essential field epidemiology skills. The cohort is expected to complete the program by May 2025.
