March 10, 2025 (San Juan, Puerto Rico) – From February 24-28, 2025, vector control specialists from across the U.S. tropical islands gathered in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for the Tropical Islands Training and Evaluation Center (TITEC) Vector Training. Hosted by PIHOA, PRVCU, and PacVec, the training focused on mosquito surveillance, insecticide resistance, and innovative control methods to combat mosquito-borne diseases.
