April 4, 2025 (Honolulu, HI) – From March 24–28, 2025, the 76th PIHOA Executive Board Meeting (EBM) brought together public health champions from across the U.S.-Affiliated Pacific Islands (USAPIs) at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Honolulu. Over five powerful days, health leaders, technical experts, and development partners engaged in open forums, strategy sessions, and meaningful dialogue to address some of the region’s most pressing health priorities.

A key message echoed throughout the week: Pacific Island nations and territories are not just recipients of aid—they are agents of change. By strengthening their collective voice, investing in the public health workforce, and building long-term strategies, the region is shaping a healthier, more resilient future, on its own terms. From celebrating future change-makers to advancing health equity across the Blue Pacific, the 76th EBM reaffirmed PIHOA’s commitment to Pacific-led solutions.
